It is with great pleasure that the European Academy of Religion announces its fourth Annual Conference, which will take place in Münster (Germany) between Monday, August 30th and Thursday, September 2nd. Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster will be the organizing institution. As in previous years, the scientific program will be composed of working sessions (panels and book presentations) and keynote lectures that will focus on the overarching topic Religion and Change.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference will take place in a hybrid format with on-site and online participation.

On-site the conference venue is in the centre of the city of Münster in university buildings (Fürstenberghaus, Domplatz 20-22 / "Domplatz 23" building, Domplatz 23) and takes place there in around 15 lecture and seminar rooms. Spacious meetings areas are available in the buildings and outside.

Online participation will be possible through the professional conference platform ZUMMIT, which allows full participation in all keynote lectures, discussions, and panels. As an online participant, you'll use a special app and to join all panels you'd like and even have short looks only into panels.

You can download the guide to ZUMMIT here.
