The European Academy of Religion is happy to invite publishers to participate in its next event.
After its launch in 2016, EuARe Annual Conferences have reached their fifth edition. As publishers' participation has always been an essential pillar of the initiative, we are eager to welcome publishing houses to Bologna once again.
On this page, publishers can discover how to reach out to participants through advertising materials and receptions, start programming interviews with soon-to-be authors, and get in touch with us about possible partnerships.
PARTNERSHIP AND SPONSORSHIP OPTIONS
Publishers can contribute in many ways to the conference. Among others, we encourage them to:
Participate with a book stand. The bookstand is free of charge for publishers/exhibitors. Materials can be sent to us in advance, about a month before the event.
Send advertising materials to be included in our conference bags. Materials can either be sent to us in advance about a month before the event or printed in Bologna at the publishing houses' expenses.
Organize an Author Meets Critique session if they have special issues, volumes, collections to launch.
Organize a sponsored panel. In this case, publishers could decide to cover the registration fees of the panellists or fund their participation in different ways. In case there is not an agreement between the publishers and the panellists before the presentation of the panel proposal, EuARe supports communication between publishers and panellists, but is not involved in the funding procedures.
It is also possible to sponsor other types of activities. Among others, we suggest: :
Sponsoring a reception (it could be by invitation only, and EuARe could help the publisher to find the best moment and space to host it).
Sponsoring a table at the Gala Dinner (from 6 to 10 people of your choice – depending on the COVID regulations which will be in place next Summer) on Wednesday, June 22nd.
Sponsoring 2 travel grants (300 € each, which will partially cover accommodation and travel expenses of two students, PhD students, post-docs, and early career scholars participating in the conference).
