The European Academy of Religion offers travel grants up to € 300 to students, PhD students, post-docs, and early career scholars. The number of travel grants varies according to the generosity of the donors.
The grants are also available for those who would like to attend the meeting as auditors, i.e. without offering a conference paper.
HOW TO SUBMIT
In order to be eligible for the grant, applicants must submit to firstname.lastname@example.org a curriculum vitae, a motivation letter and an estimated travel budget. Registration fees to the conference, membership fees to EuARe and the Gala dinner contribution cannot be included in the refund.
The outcome of the application will be notified in the second half of October.
Applicants will receive a notification from the EuARe Secretariat in case of acceptance as well as in case of rejection. If you applied and did not receive a confirmation, whether positive or negative, please inquire before the Conference.
In case of acceptance, the applicant must be sure to stop by the registration desk during the days of the conference: in order to receive the grant, it is necessary that the applicant confirms his/her presence and collects the refund module.
The grant will be transferred after the conference, provided that a photo or a .pdf file with the receipts of the expenditures is sent to our email address together with the refund module, filled and signed.
In the first half of October, we awarded a first round of grants. Nonetheless, the application process is still open: the next round of accepted applications will be notified by February 28th.
On the occasion of our third annual conference, Religions will sponsor one of the EuARe travel grants in favour of students, PhD students, post-docs, and early career scholars.
Religions is an international, interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open-access journal on religions and theology, published monthly online by MDPI. The grant (300 €) will be assigned to one student or young researcher participating in the EuARe2020 conference (whether offering a paper or participating as an auditor). Candidacies will be received by EuARe through its own application procedure starting from Friday, November 1st until Monday, February 10th. The winner will be selected by Religions academic editor.
